What treating customers fairly means to Ashcourt in the context of the Financial Services Authority’s (FSA) six 'Treating customers fairly' outcomes and our undertaking to the clients.

'Ashcourt will act with honesty and integrity, and will deal with customers in an open and transparent manner. We will act reasonably towards customers by considering their concerns impartially and will honour expectations where these have been created by us.

We will promote and market our services according to the identified needs of our target customers in a balanced and orderly way, ensuring all communications are fair, clear and not misleading. We will deliver clear and accurate information on a timely and ongoing basis to help customers understand our services and to ensure our recommendations remain suitable for their personal and financial circumstances. We will further ensure customers do not face unreasonable post-sale barriers.

We will undertake regular analysis of our management information to demonstrate delivery of the FSA's six TCF outcomes.'
