Ashcourt SSASs

A SSAS is a type of Company Registered Pension Scheme that allows the members, in their capacity as the trustees of the scheme, to choose their own investments and determine the level of benefits that are paid.

A SSAS can be appropriate for;

  • Family Companies
  • Small Companies where the Directors wish to aggregate their pensions
  • Groups of individuals who wish to jointly purchase an expensive asset
  • Individuals who want direct control of their pension

Ashcourt Administration Limited acts as the Practitioner for each SSAS and corporate trustee services can also be provided if required.  As the trustees' Practitioner, Ashcourt will handle the day to day administration of the SSAS, advise the trustees on technical and legislative matters and report any information required by the Revenue.

A SSAS allows the member trustees to make a wide range of investments including shares, unit trusts, gilts and commercial property.  SSASs can also take out a mortgage and make a secured loan to a sponsoring employer.

A SSAS gives its members the ability to receive a flexible income in retirement.  The levels of retirement benefits can often be tailored to match each of the member’s requirements.

Please contact us if you would like more information or speak to your Financial Adviser if you require advice concerning whether an Ashcourt SSAS might be appropriate for you.
